Please allow extra time before entering transition for your bike to be checked. Ensure the reverse of your child’s race number has been filled in with their emergency contact details, as this will be checked prior to being allowed into transition.

Race Briefing

Each age group will have a race briefing before the start of their race where you can learn about any last-minute changes to the course and ask questions. The race briefing will be next to registration and it is compulsory to attend.

Bike Route

This will be on grass/tarmac mix and will be a series of laps. Once completing the set number of laps, return to transition, rack your bike and continue on the run. You must not mount your bike before the mount line or dismount after the dismount line.

Child Protection & Safety

Throughout this event, the safety and well-being of the children competing in the event are of paramount importance to us, but also to the continued success of children’s triathlon in the United Kingdom. The race marshals are there to ensure the safety of the children at all times throughout the race. Certain key officials for the triathlon have been vetted by the CRB or DBS and British Triathlon to work with children.

We look forward to seeing you on race day.
